Who We Are: A Special Relationship With The Chicago Park District
My Chase Park is the official Advisory Council of Chase Park, committed to strengthening and supporting our beloved neighborhood hub. As a volunteer-led group, we work in close collaboration with the Chicago Park District—a treasured municipal institution that has long championed recreation, equity, and community across the city. Our partnership with the Park District makes everything we do possible—from youth programs and seasonal events to facility improvements and outreach initiatives. Together, we help ensure Chase Park remains a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring space for all.
The Heart of Chase Park: My Chase Park (The Advisory Council)
At the core of everything we do is the Chase Park Advisory Council—a passionate group of community members dedicated to supporting, growing, and evolving Chase Park’s reach and impact.
Originally founded in 2010, the Council was reformed in 2013, reestablished in 2016, and rebuilt once again after the COVID-19 pandemic. Each transformation has brought more partners, deeper community engagement, and greater capacity. These milestones reflect the resilience and evolving spirit of our park community.

In 2019, the Advisory Council took a bold step to better represent the park’s expanding network and partnerships. As instructors, families, volunteers, and organizations deepened their involvement, a unifying identity became essential.
Thus, My Chase Park was born.
More than just a name, My Chase Park became the official brand and central hub of the Advisory Council—serving as a connector for all programs, events, meetings, and resources happening in and around the park. Our website now offers one convenient place where the neighborhood can stay connected—whether you're registering for a class, reserving a space, or simply staying informed.

Chase Park thrives thanks to a strong ecosystem of partnerships and dedicated organizations that make our work possible and impactful.
Our Supporting Organizations
💪 In-The-Parks.org (NFP) – Founded in 2013 as a grassroots effort to support park communities, this nonprofit serves as our behind-the-scenes operations partner. From building websites and managing communications to developing programs and promoting events, they help bring our shared vision to life.
👟 Chicago Recreation Providers – Launched in 2022 by a network of former teachers, coaches, and Chicago Park District alumni, this organization helps staff our programs with highly experienced instructors. Their team draws from public schools, CPD alumni, and private youth and adult fitness professionals. They also oversee a thorough background check and vetting process to ensure every instructor meets the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and skill.
Together, these organizations help us deliver inclusive, high-quality programming to everyone who walks through our doors.
What We Offer
Youth & Adult Sports – From basketball and soccer to volleyball and Capoeira, we promote teamwork, healthy competition, and confidence.
Fitness & Wellness – Enjoy group fitness, personal training, and active living opportunities. Our facility features a fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, running track, and baseball fields.
Arts & Enrichment – Explore dance, music, theater, and creative workshops for all ages.
Seasonal & Day-Off Camps – When school’s out, Chase Park is in! Our camps offer kids a safe, engaging place to learn and play.
Special Events – Join us for performances, cultural celebrations, and community gatherings that bring everyone together.
